A 21-year-old accused of stabbing a man to death in Norfolk is set to stand trial in July.
Junior Suleimane has been charged with murdering Felizardo Jose Viera-Balde, 23, on St Peters Road, Great Yarmouth on Wednesday, February 8.
He is also charged with possessing a knife in a public place on the same date.
Suleimane, of Market Place, Great Yarmouth, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Tuesday (February 14) when a potential date for a trial, which is expected to last 10 days, was set for July 17 by Judge Anthony Bate.
Suleimane, who appeared in court via videolink, will next appear for a plea and trial preparation hearing (PTPH) on March 27.
Jaimes Santos, 43, of Nelson Road South, Great Yarmouth, has been charged with assisting an offender.
He did not appear on Tuesday but is expected to appear alongside Suleimane for PTPH next month.
As previously reported the murder has left local people in shock after the fatal attack happened in broad daylight just yards from Great Yarmouth's Golden Mile.
