Norfolk students have revealed how inappropriate behaviour impacts on their everyday life in a new awareness film.

The Conversation sees University of East Anglia students aged 20 and 21 on how behaviours can be called out and challenged.

Part of the Enough campaign, and released during sexual abuse and sexual violence awareness week, it encourages people to call out violence against women and girls to change attitudes and “end the cycle of abuse”.

Andy Coller, co-chair of the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Group, said: “We know the response to incidents has a big impact but preventing incidents from happening in the first place through small acts of support, such as calling out inappropriate behaviour in a safe way, can really help to tackle the issue and provide a long-lasting positive effect.”

Jane Amos, associate director of UEA student services, said: “We also have an incredibly engaged group of students who are vigilant to these kinds of issues and the associated warning signs.”

The short film is being shared on social media under the #ItsNotOk #Enough #ItsEverybodysBusiness hashtags.
