One of East Anglia's most popular family attractions has announced a major revamp of two of its rides in its 40th anniversary year.
Pleasurewood Hills in Corton, near Lowestoft on the Suffolk coast, has been open since 1983 and holds fond childhood memories for many local people.
The theme park boasts shows and thrilling rides, including the Cannonball Express and the region's biggest rollercoaster Wipeout, with the park mascot Woody Bear.
Ahead of the 2023 season starting on Saturday, April 1, the revamp of two attractions has been announced on social media.
The first of these is the Safari, where families can head "out onto the plains of Pleasurewood Hills and look out for the animals".
It is the longest-serving ride at the park and to give it a refresh, brand-new cars are being introduced.
The second is the Pleasurewood Ponies, which was introduced in 2012 and families can ride on a rocking thoroughbred around the paddock.
It is being rebranded as Giddy Up with new horses and a cowboy and cowgirl theme.
