A secondary school is prepared for an influx of new pupils after the official opening of its new expansion.
Breckland School, in Brandon, has added a new two-storey block to its site which will allow it to accommodate an additional 100 pupil places.
The extension came as the school saw growing demand for places, with its principal John Winn admitting it was struggling for capacity.
He said: "It is fair to say that conditions were starting to feel a little cramped at the school and we needed a bit more space and flexibility.
"So, to open this extension is fantastic news and one that students and staff are equally positive about.
"The popularity of the school has grown enormously in recent years, making this extension crucial."
The extension also paved the way for two new science laboratories, two new classrooms, and an activity studio to be added to the school site.
To mark the occasion, students at the Suffolk school buried a time capsule in the school grounds, which will be unearthed by future generations.
