A man was found with almost 1.4kg of heroin at home after drugs were discovered in his car by police, a court has heard.
Wayne Dolan, 23, was found to have a total of 1.388kg of powder containing diamorphine and more than £4,000 in cash as well as other drugs in a search of his King's Lynn property.
Norwich Crown Court heard Dolan had initially come to the attention of police after he was involved in a suspicious transaction, leading to him being stopped on January 7, 2020.
Officers found wraps containing amphetamines and cocaine under the gear stick cover, while two mobile phones were also found.
At his home, almost 1.4kg of diamorphine was found as well as a quantity of amphetamines and "lesser amounts" of other drugs.
Ian James, prosecuting, said the purity of the diamorphine found ranged from 25pc up to 52pc.
A total of £4,026 in cash was also found.
Dolan, of Tilney St Lawrence, Lynn, appeared at court on Wednesday (February 8) having previously admitted three counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A and two counts of possessing a class B drug with intent.
He also admitted an offence of possessing criminal property.
Jailing Dolan for a total of five years and five months, Judge Katharine Moore said he had been "carrying out a significant role".
Judge Moore said: "You did it in the expectation of significant financial advantage and clearly had a good awareness of the scale of the operation".
Stephen Spence, mitigating, said Dolan was a "man of previous good character who pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity".
He said Dolan was just 20 at the time the offences were committed and insisted "his involvement arose out of youth and naivety".
