A man in his 30s who died in a five-car horror crash on the A1122 has been named as an inquest into his death opened.
Marcin Zablotny, of Chapel Terrace in Downham Market, died following a crash close to Anvill Lodge.
An inquest into the 37-year-old's death opened in Norwich on Wednesday, February 8.
It heard that Mr Zablotny was born in Poland and was employed as a delivery driver.
The crash happened at around 6.30am on Wednesday, January 18 on the A1122 between the junctions with St John's Way and Downham Road and involved five vehicles.
The incident saw the road closed to all traffic in both directions, with multiple people suffering injuries as a result.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, attended the scene, but Mr Zablotny died as a result of the injuries he suffered.
His medical cause of death was given as extensive traumatic injuries due to a road traffic collision.
Senior coroner Jacqueline Lake adjourned the hearing for a full inquest, which is due to be held on July 27.
