A suspected unexploded bomb or device has been discovered in Great Yarmouth prompting homes to be evacuated and roads to be closed.
The discovery was made in the River Yare at 11.36am today (February 7) near to the construction site of the third river crossing on Southtown Road.
A 100m cordon is in place and homes and businesses inside the cordon have been evacuated.
Drivers are being diverted away from the area.

Southtown Road is closed in both directions from Boundary Road up until the roadworks at Beccles Road.
Police have urged people to avoid the area.
The bomb squad have been called to the scene to investigate.
