A popular bakery with shops across Norfolk and Suffolk is publishing its first cookbook.
The Two Magpies Bakery will be publishing the book in April, featuring stories and recipes from the heart of East Anglia.
With premises in Norwich, Holt, Blakeney, Beccles, Aldeburgh, Woodbridge, Darsham and Southwold, the bakery has rapidly expanded across the region over the last decade after opening its Southwold branch in 2013.
The fully illustrated baking book, written by owner and founder Rebecca Bishop, has more than 100 recipes for every level of baker including its Adnams Broadside bread pudding and sourdough loaves.
Ms Bishop said: "After developing recipes for the bakery and working with my bakery class students for many years, I understand many of the pitfalls and frustrations that home bakers experience when it comes to making bread and cakes, so I’m really excited to share some of the Two Magpies baking secrets."
The book is interspersed with stories and photographs from the local area while teaching bakers to make a variety of baked goods including pastries and celebration cakes.
Writer and producer Emma Freud, who has a home in Walberswick, added: "Two Magpies Bakery is the greatest thing to happen to Suffolk this decade.
"Rebecca and her team make the greatest bread, the most wholesome but imaginative cakes and have a mission to use local ingredients which inspire game-changing results.
"Hers is the only shop I will happily queue in."
Two Magpies Bakery hardback book will be available on April 27 and costs £26.
