A man has died following a crash on the A134 in Mundford.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision, which involved a blue VW Golf and a black Ford Fusion, at 2.05pm on Wednesday, February 1.
Two air ambulances were in attendance and a road closure was in place between the Mundford roundabout and the A11 roundabout.
The driver of the VW Golf, a man aged in his 40s, died at the scene and the driver of the Ford, a man in his 20s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
A spokesperson for East Anglian Air Ambulance said: "The patient was given a full assessment, administered advanced pain relief and splintage to his injuries.
"He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance, accompanied by the air ambulance crew, for further treatment."
Police are appealing for any witnesses or dashcam footage of the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the collision.
