A long line of lights believed to be Elon Musk's SpaceX satellites have been spotted in the skies above Norfolk.

Patrick Budds from Bramerton captured the band of lights in the sky at roughly 6.15am on Thursday (February 2).

One man, who was out on a run in Saxlingham Nethergate at around the same time, said: "I thought it looked like loads of lightbulbs on a telephone wire and when I got home I told my wife I had seen a UFO. It vanished so quickly."

A clear, cloudless morning made it possible to see the satellites as they moved quickly across the night sky.

The Starlink project was developed by Elon Musk's SpaceX and is used to transmit a high-speed internet connection from space using a constellation of satellites.

It is not the first time the satellites have been seen over Norfolk, with frequent sightings since the project's launch in 2020.
