A village hall's roof has been destroyed after a fire broke out in north Norfolk.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to the blaze at Walsingham Village Hall, in Wells Road, shortly before 4.30pm on Monday.
The fire service confirmed appliances from Wells, Fakenham and Holt stations attended the scene.
Pictures shared on social media by St Mary & All Saints Church with Walsingham & Barsham Benefice showed smoke billowing from the roof of the hall.
Images taken later in the evening revealed the roof had caved in as a result of the fire.
St Mary & All Saints Church with Walsingham & Barsham Benefice said on Facebook: "Devastating to see this happen to our community today.
"As a church family we have greatly appreciated the place that this village hall has played in the life of our community over many years.
"We pray for hope at this time."
A stop message was sent by the fire service shortly after 7pm.
