Cheese lovers are in for a treat as fondue nights are running this year at a popular eatery in north Norfolk.
Tom Brady opened Star Plain Stores in Holt in May 2021 and it started as just a deli offering artisan cheese, wine and coffee, which includes local produce.
Then in June 2022 he took on the neighbouring unit and opened a cheese and wine lounge too, offering everything from toasties to sharing boards.
After a successful trial in December last year, fondue nights will be a firm fixture in 2023 and the dates announced so far are March 25, June 24, September 30 and December 2 all from 6.30pm.
It costs £30pp or £34pp for a truffle option, excluding drinks, and will include a three-cheese fondue with Swiss, French and Dutch varieties served with roasted vegetables, charcuterie, sourdough, Kirsch and pickles caviar.
Mr Brady said: "I went skiing in Italy a few weeks ago and went to a fondue restaurant where I got the idea to have a permanent pre-bookable fondue table too with an induction hob built in, so I'm hoping to do that in the future."
Book the fondue nights on the Star Plain Stores website.
