A new Lidl supermarket is opening its doors in Norfolk later this week.
The store in Watton will create 40 new jobs and will have an in-store bakery, customer toilets with baby changing facilities and ample parking for cars and bicycles.
It will form part of a development off Norwich Road, which also includes 45 new homes, and follows a dispute with rival supermarket chain Tesco.
Lidl GB’s regional head of property, Andrew Hodgkinson, said: “We have received overwhelming support from the local community and are thrilled to be opening our new store.
"With people continuing to tighten their belts, we’re in the best possible position to help shoppers make big savings."
Opening day will see a range of exclusive deals including in-ear headphones, heated blankets and bread machines.
The new Lidl store will be open from January 26 between 8am and 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
