From a magical Roald Dahl tale to a show celebrating the hits of Take That, these West End musicals are coming to Norwich Theatre Royal in 2023.
These shows still have tickets available, which can be bought on the Norwich Theatre website.
1. Girl From The North Country, February 28 to March 4
This musical by playwright Conor McPherson reimagines the songs of Bob Dylan and has been performed on both the West End and Broadway.
It is set in 1934 in the heartland of America, where a group of wayward souls crosses paths in a time-weathered guesthouse.
2. Strictly Ballroom the Musical, April 10-15
This hit show, based on the 1992 Baz Luhrmann film, is heading to the city on its UK and Ireland tour and it features more than 20 world-class performers.
It stars Strictly Come Dancing's Kevin Clifton, with direction from judge and choreographer Craig Revel Horwood.
3. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, April 19 to 29
There is still time to get your golden ticket to see this magical Roald Dahl tale come to life on stage.
It tells the story of Charlie Bucket who wins a trip to Wonka Chocolate Factory along with four other children, with West End star Gareth Snook playing Willy Wonka.
4. Titanic, May 1 to 6
Titanic the Musical reveals the hopes and dreams of the passengers who boarded the RMS Titanic in 1912, where 1517 people lost their lives.
The original Broadway production won five Tony awards, including best musical, best score and best book.
5. Heathers, June 13 to 17
Comedy rock musical Heathers, based on the 1988 film of the same name, is heading on a UK tour following its success on the West End.
Westerberg High’s Veronica Sawyer joins the beautiful and impossibly cruel Heathers and her dreams of popularity may finally come true.
6. Annie, August 1 to 5
Smash-hit musical Annie comes to the city direct from the West End and the Norwich tour dates star Strictly's Craig Revel Horwood as the tyrannical Miss Hannigan.
Set in 1930s New York during The Great Depression, brave young Annie is forced to live a life of misery, but her luck soon changes when she is chosen to spend a fairytale Christmas with famous billionaire Oliver Warbucks.
7. Greatest Days, August 7 to 12
Greatest Days, previously called The Band, is a jukebox That That musical featuring more than 15 of their hits.
The musical follows five boyband-obsessed best friends in the 1990s, who reunite over 20 years later to see the heartthrobs for one last time.
8. The Bodyguard, August 28-September 2
The Bodyguard is back at Norwich Theatre Royal and is based on the 1992 film of the same name, starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston.
Former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard, Frank Farmer, is hired to protect superstar Rachel Marron from an unknown stalker and they end up falling in love.
It features timeless classics including One Moment in Time, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and I Will Always Love You.
9. The Drifters Girl, September 19-23
Direct from The West End, The Drifters Girl comes to the Theatre Royal on a major tour of the UK.
From the highs of hit records to the lows of legal battles and personal tragedy, Faye Treadwell is the legendary manager of The Drifters who refused to give up on the group she loved.
It features a soundtrack packed full of iconic Drifters hits including Saturday Night At The Movies, Save The Last Dance For Me and Stand By Me.
