Volunteers are being sought to operate a historic water-powered sawmill in north Norfolk.
The Gunton Park Sawmill, between Aylsham and Cromer, is also in need of people to help promote the 200-year-old attraction and help run open days.
Russell Yeomans, who volunteers at the mill, said it was a popular site for visitors and locals which showcased aspects of England’s industrial heritage.
Mr Yeomans said: “There is also a growing museum of woodland industries, building trades and other rural crafts, so we are looking for volunteers to help run and develop both the sawmill and exhibits.
“We need practical people to operate the saw and stewards to engage with the public and explain the machinery and history of the sawmill.
“We are also looking for administrative 'friends' - professionals and experts to seek and apply for funding, update the Facebook page and website and generally oversee and advise on what needs doing and chase it up.”
There will be a volunteer day at the mill - NR11 7HL - on March 12 from 2pm-4pm. Anyone interested in volunteering is welcome to attend, and there is more information at guntonparksawmill.co.uk.
