This is the moment amateur North Norfolk photographer James Rowley-Hill captured the Northern Lights in the skies off the coast.
Using a DSLR with a long exposure, Mr Rowley-Hill, 40, photographs the natural phenomenon with stunning clarity from his Happisburgh home, which he says can be seen with the naked eye in certain conditions.
Mr Rowley-Hill began photographing the lights in 2005 and has been doing so ever since.
"It all kicked off on Friday," he said of this recent photographs. "It was a bonus that the skies were so clear."
Mr Rowley-Hill claims seeing the lights isn't as rare as people might think and that he has seen the lights 23 times since August, sometimes as early as 5pm.
The Northern Lights, scientifically known as Aurora Borealis, can sometimes be seen as far south as London and even Cornwall.
