Police have named a 47-year-old woman who was murdered in Wisbech as Eliza Bibby.
Officers were called by the ambulance service at 6.33am on Tuesday, January 10, after medics found a woman's body in a bungalow on Beechwood Road.
A post-mortem examination has now confirmed Ms Bibby, who was disabled, died of multiple stab wounds.
Neighbours said they heard a disturbance and dogs barking at the property shortly after midnight on Tuesday.
The house has been sealed off, while police have been searching gardens and drains around the property.
Two people have been arrested over her death. A 45-year-old man, of no fixed address, and a 42-year-old woman, from Wisbech, remain in custody at King’s Lynn.
Det Insp Lee Martin, from the Major Crime Unit, said: “I am still urging anyone who has any information to contact us.
“We believe this to have been a targeted attack, however, patrols continue in the local area to ease any concerns residents may have."
