Charities helping those struggling to survive as the cost of living continues to spiral will discuss the issue in parliament this week.
Norfolk MPs including Chloe Smith - who represents Norwich North - will meet with the likes of Norfolk Community Advice Network (NCAN), Age UK Norwich, and MAP on January 17.
It comes as the NCAN charities describe a 68% increase in direct referrals compared to this time last year and follows the prime minister's plan to tackle inflation as one of his five key priorities for 2023.
Ms Smith said: "This meeting is really important to ensure that the most vulnerable in our community continue to be protected.
"The government has taken major action on the cost of living, with £37bn being paid out to help with energy bills, and special payments going to eight million households most in need.
"This will help many in Norwich."
