Anglian Demolition and Asbestos is a one-stop shop that has developed a good reputation by becoming a go-to contractor in East Anglia. In the current economic climate, the company has encountered some setbacks, including fuel and energy prices and labour shortages. But the company has consistently improved processes across all areas of the business and has always been adaptable to change despite the instability of the economy. This has been achieved through continued innovation and software developments.

Staff training has always been a priority to ensure the company develops and retains the best people to help excel the growth of the business and to increase the overall skillset.

“We make sure that knowledge and continued professional development is kept up to date, so the team fully understands the nature of the business, managers understand their people, and business processes remain efficient,” Lucy explains. “We have also implemented renewable energy initiatives and reduced our vehicle fleet to cope with fiscal changes and increased prices. We believe that budgets should be consistently reviewed and be malleable to economic demands.”

The company is looking to increase its market share in all areas of the business, but especially waste management.

“This will be achieved through our customer-centric approach to servicing our waste operations from wheelie bins, skips, scrap metal recycling and environmental audits,” says Lucy. “We are continuously implementing initiatives to recycle as many waste streams as possible from our food waste through anaerobic digestion to our scrap metal processing facility.”

Lucy says that the company will strive to reinforce its status as a chosen contractor, while consistently building good business relationships with stakeholders.

“Through developments of infrastructure, projects and adaptation to industry demand, we believe we can achieve exceptional and sustainable growth for the business and for the community.”

Social value is integral to the company’s ethos, which is based around sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Looking to the future, Anglian Demolition and Asbestos will strive to provide first-class service while supporting the local community through sponsorships, local procurement and charitable donations.

“I advise all local businesses to come on board for their responsible waste disposal solutions and environmental initiatives,” Lucy urges. “Through strong business partnerships in Norfolk and Suffolk, we will achieve better growth towards a net-zero region.”
