Giant screens and decorations are to be installed in some of Norfolk's towns to celebrate King Charles III's coronation.
Breckland Council has announced that almost £70,000 will be made available to support the May 6 event.
TV coverage of the coronation will be shown on large, outdoor screens which will be funded by Breckland Council.
Other live screening events will be funded by the council and run by either local town councils or community groups.
The borough's five market towns - Swaffham, Watton, Dereham, Thetford and Attleborough - will be provided with celebration street banners.
One scheme would allow town and parish councils to claim up to £200 for a flag pole and flags for the occasion.
Another could see community groups and charities able to bid for up to £500 to hold coronation celebrations.
Cllr Alison Webb said: "The coronation of King Charles III will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a truly historic moment in our nation's history.
"We are therefore delighted to support various initiatives to bring our communities together to mark this occasion over the May Bank Holiday weekend."
