Tucked away from the city centre, St Giles Street feels a bit like a secret hidden away from the bustle of Norwich's main shopping areas.
If you haven't explored the area recently, there may be a number of changes to spot.
From a vintage clothing store to a cafe's renovations, here are five recent changes in Upper and Lower St Giles in Norwich.
1. Prime steakhouse
This steakhouse restaurant used to be located in the Tombland area but it relocated to St Giles Street last year, doubling the size of its space.
Prime aims to deliver an "immersive" dining experience using quality ingredients and produce from Norfolk.
2. Cupcake & Co
Long-running coffee shop and cake store, Cupcake & Co, underwent renovations in September last year.
Its new look offers more space for customers to sit and enjoy one of its decadent cupcakes along with a warming drink.
3. Kofra Coffee Shop
Situated in Upper St Giles, coffee chain Kofra has been expanding its offerings at its Upper St Giles Street venue.
It now offers an extensive range of natural wines and craft beers as well as a deli and a selection of dry-aged beef steaks.
There is also on-street seating where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the evenings.
4. Vintage Apparel
Fashionistas have been flocking to St Giles Street after new clothing store, Vintage Apparel, opened last month.
It is run by husband-and-wife duo Myles Oakley, 64, and Sarah Perry, 56, who recently moved up from London.
Mr Oakley has many years of experience in retail and previously ran East End Thrift Store in the capital, which had concessions in places such as Selfridges, Topshop and House of Fraser.
5. New hotel in the works as Tesco store closes
Nearby in Guildhall Hill, major changes are afoot with work underway to transform a historic building into a budget hotel.
A Travelodge is currently under construction at the former Chamberlin & Sons department store building.
It is due to be completed in December this year, creating 28 jobs for the area and costing £8-10m.
The plans forced the Tesco Express store situated on the ground floor of the building to relocate to a new premises in London Street.
