Images have been released of the new Paramount+ crime drama series The Chemistry Death, which was partially shot in Norfolk.
It is an adaptation of critically-acclaimed English author Simon Beckett's bestselling novels The Chemistry of Death and Written in Bone, both part of the David Hunter series.
Scenes were shot in Horsey, Old Buckenham and North Walsham in Norfolk last summer.
The series stars Harry Treadaway (Penny Dreadful, Star Trek: Picard) as Dr. David Hunter, an exceptionally talented forensic anthropologist.
Following the tragic loss of his family, he builds a new existence in the fictional Norfolk village of Manham working as a family doctor.
After a mutilated body turns up in the woods, the local police unexpectedly asks David to help solve the murder case, which leads him to a small Hebridean island.
Mr Beckett said: "The last time I was in Norfolk I was researching for The Chemistry of Death [novel].
"Now I've come back here to see the series being made, which is quite strange, but also a really good feeling.”
The six-part series will air weekly on the streaming service Paramount+ from January 19.
