A second arrest has been made as a dog had to be put down and a man was left badly injured following a savage attack in Lowestoft.
The incident happened when the victim was walking his dog at the North Denes caravan park between 6pm and 8pm on New Year's Eve, Saturday, December 31.
His pet was attacked by two other dogs, both described as American bulldogs.
The man was then kicked and punched by a group of young men and women.
The victim was badly injured and his dog had to be put to sleep.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of assault and was taken to Great Yarmouth police station, where he remains.
His dog was also seized.
Earlier in the week, one man was arrested and bailed pending further enquiries. This man's dog was also seized by police.
