The ashes of lost loved ones can now be incorporated into a range of jewellery as part of a new initiative at Cromer Crematorium.
The Westerleigh Group, which operates the crematorium in Holt Road, has joined forces with a firm called EverWith which makes the jewellery.
Each piece contains ashes or a glass-like stone made from the ashes.
Rodney Clark-Ward, the crematorium’s site manager, said: “We are very pleased to be working with one of the UK’s largest memorial jewellery companies.
“A big part of grieving is finding a way to honour and keep their loved ones with them.
“Creating a piece of jewellery with their ashes will provide a personal keepsake to forever cherish."
Anyone who has the ashes of a loved one can enquire about the jewellery service, even if their service did not take place at Cromer Crematorium.
Ashes can be incorporated into memorial rings, earrings, bracelets, charm beads, lockets and even cufflinks.
