The men, aged between 22 and 46 and from the Nottingham and Bedford areas, were arrested on the suspicion of cannabis production.

Police stopped two vehicles which had left the address and were travelling along the A47 towards Norwich.

Two of the suspects ran off across fields, while two were detained at the scene.

Police drones and dogs were deployed to track the suspects, who were subsequently arrested.

A seal was put in place around the property and the plants and growing equipment were seized.

The men have all been released on bail until March 20.

Officers had been alerted to suspicious activity in the area.

Signs of a potential cannabis factory include a strong or sickly, sweet smell, buildings with windows constantly blocked off, high levels of heat and condensation, and the constant buzz of ventilation.

Such operations would most likely have people coming and going from an address at unsociable hours too.

Anyone with information, or who may have seen suspicious activity in the area, should contact Norfolk Police on 101 quoting incident number 36/98671/22.
