Norfolk has been ranked as one of the best counties in England.
The county received high praise for its sandy beaches, the Broads and nature reserves by the national newspaper The Telegraph.
Each county was scored in 33 different categories which were divided into four subcategories and included history and culture, peace and quiet, natural wonders and luxuries.
Norfolk received a total score of 594.
Travel writer Oliver Smith said people visiting the county, which was ranked number nine in England, can get a seaside break far from the maddening crowds.
He also recommended those visiting Norfolk to take a boat trip to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve where it is possible to see grey seals.
The county's 200kms of coastline earned it 38 points and its six Blue Flag beaches a further 24.
The county is also home to some of the best beaches in the UK including Holkham and Hunstanton.
Great Yarmouth was also named as one of the best staycation destinations in the UK in October.
The Blakeney Hotel was also mentioned as a place to stay for those visiting the area by The Telegraph.

Elsewhere in East Anglia, Suffolk was ranked as the 14th best county in England.
