A towering village church us being lit up each night with a dazzling display of searchlights.
Beams leap high into the sky above the 175ft spire of St Mary's at Snettisham.
On clearer nights, the lights are visible from miles around. They come on as the geese fly in at dusk to roost.
Magnificent St Mary's, which has overlooked the coastal village for seven centuries, has been lit up as a beacon of hope.
The word shines out as the tower changes colour from blue to purple to gold and back again.
Lights within change too, shining through the great west window.
Searchlights probe the darkness and glance off the clouds as the last skein of geese squeal overhead.
Then all is silent as night closes in and the church shines on.
The display begins around 5pm and continues until 11.45pm each night until Tuesday, January 2.
