A north Norfolk beach with miles of unspoilt stretches of sand has been named among one of the most dog-friendly walks in the UK.
With January fast approaching, many will be putting on their walking boots to burn off the Christmas festivities.
And there's no better way to get in those steps than a crisp winter beach walk with a fury friend.
For those looking to stretch their legs, Canine Cottages put together a list of six of the UK's most dog-friendly spots and Norfolk's Holkham beach came in at number five.
A Canine Cottages spokesperson wrote: "One of the most unspoilt and beautiful stretches of sand in the UK, this amazing beach has dunes rolling on for miles.
"Note that the beach is restricted in some areas for our canine friends during the summer and nesting time, so check dates before you visit to make sure it's safe."
Rhossoli Bay Beach in Swansea came in at number one, followed by Luskentyre in the Isle of Harris.
