Traffic is beginning to build around the Sandringham Estate, with people arriving from across the country to catch a glimpse of the Royal Family.
King Charles and Camilla, the Queen Consort, are spending the festive season at the Norfolk estate and it is the first since the death of the Queen.
The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children George, Charlotte and Louis, the Princess Royal and her family and the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children are expected to join them.
It is understood that the Duke of York and his former wife Sarah, Duchess of York, are on the estate, but it is not known if Andrew will make a public appearance.
This is the first time the Royal Family has spent Christmas at the private royal residence since 2019 due to Covid.
They will attend a morning service at St Mary Magdalene Church, greeting fans before sitting down to a family dinner with turkey and all the trimmings.
Norfolk Constabulary has urged people to arrive in plenty of time to access the public viewing area due to the usual precautionary measures, including searches upon entry.
Sandringham Royal Parkland remains open on Christmas Day with free parking and the toilets in the courtyard are open until 1pm.
Road closures and diversions are in place due to the morning service.
