The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice, which is in place for a large proportion of the county today (December 15) until midday.
There could be some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces and patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
In Norwich, the temperature is currently -4C and it is not forecasted to go above freezing until lunchtime.
As of 7am, these schools posted on the Norfolk County Council website that they would be shut today.
Fred Nicholson School, Dereham (NR19 1JB) - The school is closed throughout the day to pupils as repairs are needed to reinstate heating and gas to the site.
Staff should look at their emails for further information. The current plan is to be open on Friday for the last day of term.
Sprowston Community Academy (NR7 8NE)
A problem with the heating was affecting a number of teaching blocks yesterday and contractors tried to resolve the issue.
They have identified a leak as the cause of the problem but have not been able to identify a fix that would definitely be sustainable and safe.
This list will be updated throughout this morning.
