Norfolk has been freezing this week with temperatures plunging below zero - but when will the cold snap end?
The Met Office has issued weather warnings for snow and ice in Norfolk at the start of December after a warmer-than-usual autumn.
Santon Downham, just over the border in Suffolk, recorded a temperature of -6.6C over Friday evening - the lowest the mercury had dropped in the village in a December since 2016.
Adam Dury, meteorologist at Norwich-based forecaster Weatherquest, said the cold snap is likely to last another week before temperatures start to rise.
He said: "It's going to vary day by day, night by night over the next few days. We could see temperatures of about -3C or -4C over the nights, like we have already seen.
"It's going to be the end of next week - about the 18th or 19th - when we will see a warming-up period.
"We could have high temperatures of high single figures in the day, and not going below freezing overnight."
