A driver has been hit with a £500 fine, had their vehicle seized and received points on their licence after they were stopped by police for not wearing a seatbelt.
The Ford Fiesta was travelling in Mildenhall when it was stopped by officers on Wednesday morning (December 7).
Following an inspection, it was found the driver had no MOT and no insurance for the vehicle.
The driver is now facing fines of £500, six points on their licence and will have to pay a £150 recovery charge to reclaim the car.
In a tweet, the Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team said: "Failing to wear your seatbelt brings your attention to me, following and finding out you have no MOT gets more of my attention. Having no insurance has my full attention.
"The vehicle has been seized and the driver has been reported for all three offences."
