The yellow weather warning issued for Norfolk has been extended by another day.
The Met Office's initial warning for ice was for between 6pm on December 7 and 12pm on December 8.
It is now in place additionally from 4pm on December 8 to 12pm on December 9.
The period will have a high of 5C and a low of -2C with chances of snow across the county.
There could be disruption to roads and train lines due to the conditions.
The UK Health and Security Agency and the Met Office have also issued warnings for severe cold weather.
Dr Agostinho Sousa, consultant in public health medicine at UKHSA, said: "Cold weather can have serious consequences for health, and older people and those with heart or lung conditions can be particularly at risk.
"If you have a pre-existing medical condition, you should heat your home to a temperature that is comfortable for you.
"Try to heat the rooms you use most, such as the living and bedroom, to at least 18C if you can and keep your bedroom windows closed at night."
