An Arctic blast has arrived bringing with it the potential for snow in Norfolk tonight.
The forecast comes alongside a yellow and amber warning from the Met Office for icy conditions and severe cold weather.
And Norwich looks set to be the worst hit which could cause chaos for commuters during the morning rush-hour.
Between Fakenham and Yarmouth there could be possible snow depths of between 1 and 3cm.
All bar west Norfolk could get local dustings of snow.
Dan Holley, a meteorologist at Norwich-based forecaster Weatherquest, said: "Showers feeding inland from the North Sea into Norfolk will turn increasingly wintry during Wednesday night and into Thursday.
"Local small accumulations of snow are possible, mainly on grassy surfaces.
"Ice will be the main hazard as showers may wash grit off some roads."
Norfolk is forecast to be between 3C and 5C today (December 7) but will feel like 1C.
And tomorrow (December 8) will be between 1C and 3C but will feel like -2C.
