A North Norfolk café owner has spoken of his take-over "exceeding all expectations".
Mark Fox, 44, from Norwich, took over Charlie's of Holt in July of this year and runs the much-loved café with the help of his sister, Tracy Fox.
After the café "took off quicker than we expected", Mr Fox talks of plans for expansion in the new year, including a bigger menu of hot food, afternoon teas and a liquor license.
Mr Fox was born and raised north of Norwich, previously working as a chef at Sprowston Manner and The Gull Inn at Framingham Pigot.
He says how "it has all been leading to this", with the café being the first place of his own.
Mr Fox was drawn to Charlie's of Holt because of the premises' size, with a large amount of outdoor space and two floors inside.
Priding themselves on using local produce, Charlie's of Holt is supplied by butchers and fish mongers in the town, as well as Edgefield farm shop and Dann's Ice Creams near Dereham. Perfect for their Sunday roasts and cakes baked on the premises.
Charlie's of Holt is open Tuesday - Saturday, 8.30am-5pm and 10am-3pm on Sundays.
