Tech Educators, a Norwich-based education provider, has been named the winner of the Digital Business of the Year award, sponsored by LOCALiQ, at the Norfolk Business Awards 2022.
Founded in Norwich in 2021, Tech Educators provides instructor-led coding bootcamps to support individuals from all backgrounds into a career in tech.
Having trained over 100 students to date, the company’s growth has been fuelled by in-house developed courses and global partnerships with businesses including Code Fellows, ChainShot, Ethereum and Polygon.
Tech Educators is committed to supporting future tech talent and has two new courses planned for launch in early 2023.
The judges praised Tech Educators for its “ongoing mentorship of graduates” which demonstrates a focus on the individual beyond just course delivery.
They said the business showed intuitive awareness of its own role, both as a standalone business and as part of a much broader network of skills development, and commended its “incredibly ambitious vision” that ties global tech leadership with a passion for the Norwich area.
“Winning any award is always a true honour and it means so much to the team,” said James Adams, managing director of Tech Educators. “It means so much more considering our peers.
“The Norfolk business community and the opportunity for the next wave of innovation is all here; we have the inputs and attributes. The touchpaper is ready to be lit, and celebrating success and showing what’s possible is one of the key elements to make it happen.”
