The Comedy Club 4 Kids Christmas Cracker will see regular host Tiernan Douieb hims-ELF, CBBC and Little Howard star Howard Read and Helen Duff perform at the Chapel Field North performing arts hub on Monday, December 19.
It is aimed at five to 10-year-olds and starts at 2pm.
The Garage is also staging a free festive silent disco for five to 10-year-olds from 6.15pm-7pm on Monday, December 12.
Both events are part of the venue’s new festive festival The Imagitorium.
It also includes a series of free activities for ages two to five.
Adam Taylor, executive director of The Garage said: “The past few years have been tough.
"First the pandemic and now everyone’s feeling the pinch in their pocket with the cost-of-living crisis. Christmas is a time of sharing and being thankful.
"We can’t think of a better way of doing both than by throwing our doors open and making sure youngsters have the Christmas they deserve.”
