From garden centres to heritage railways, these are some of the best Santa's grottos running in Norfolk this Christmas.
1. Santa's Grotto at Wynterfest

Wynterfest returns to Wymondham town centre with a large Christmas market from midday until 5pm on Sunday, December 4.
There will also be street food, live music, fairground rides and a Santa's grotto from 2pm at Money Lettings hosted by The Wymondham Lions.
2. Cherry Lane Garden Centres

Wander through a Christmas world to arrive at Santa’s Grotto for a chat with the man himself before receiving a special gift.
All grotto tickets must be booked in advance and will give access to the grotto within a 30-minute window.
3. The Christmas Experience
Where: Wroxham Barns, Tunstead Road, Hoveton, NR12 8QU
When: Every weekend in December, daily from December 19 to 24
Price: Adults: £20.95, children (2-16) £27.95, under 2s: £16.95, pre-booking essential on the Wroxham Barns website
Tickets are selling fast for this fantastic festive experience, with six activities for families to enjoy and unlimited access to the Junior Farm and Fun Park included.
This includes decorating gingerbread in Mrs Claus' kitchen, the Snow-Lympics and visiting Father Christmas' front room, where children will meet him and get a gold coin to spend in the huge toyshop.
4. Santa Specials
Where: North Norfolk Railway, Sheringham Station, Station Approach, Sheringham, NR26 8RA
When: Select dates from November 26-December 23
Price: £22-£26pp (adults with children only), buy on the North Norfolk Railway website
Enjoy a magical Christmas journey on a steam train which goes from Sheringham to Holt and back, with complimentary refreshments and activity packs for each child.
At Weybourne Station, on the way back to Sheringham, families will make their way through the enchanted Christmas Tree Kingdom before meeting Santa and receiving a gift.
5. Santa's Grotto at the Christmas Weekend
Where: Plowright Place, Market Place, Swaffham, PE37 7LQ
When: 15-minute slots on December 3: 12noon-9pm and December 4: 11am-6pm (from 10am-11am the grotto will be quieter and less busy for those with extra needs)
Price: £3.50 per child (includes a small gift), booking essential through the Swaffham Town Council website, skating also needs to be pre-booked
A jam-packed festive weekend is planned in Swaffham town centre on December 3 and 4, including a skating rink, Santa's lantern parade, live music and a Christmas market.
Families can visit Father Christmas in his grotto surrounded by his elves on either day.
6. Christmas Visits at Bressingham
Where: Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens, Low Road, Diss, IP22 2AA
When: Select dates from November 27 to December 24
Price: Adults: £13.50, children (3-12) including present: £16.50, under 3s (with present) £8.50/no present £1, pre-book on Bressingham website
Under twinkling fairy lights, take a ride on a steam train on the Fen Railway, enjoy a festive spin on the Gallopers and visit Father Christmas.
Add to that the fun of a wander around a very Christmassy Walmington-on-Sea in the Exhibition Hall to see the Dad’s Army display and vehicles decorated especially for the season.
7. Santa's Grotto for Dogs
Where: The Forum, Millennium Plain, Norwich, NR2 1TF
When: December 10, 10am-3pm
Price: Donations encouraged for the RSPCA and Pets as Therapy charities, no need to book
Make sure your four-legged friend doesn't miss out this Christmas at this Santa's grotto for dogs.
Your beloved pooch will be able to pose with the famous Santa Woof Woof to create some special Christmas 'pawtraits'.
