A dog-walker who died after being struck by a motorcyclist in Norwich has been named as an inquest into her death opened.
Lucy Machin died in Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge on Saturday, November 19. She was 55.
Her death came following an incident on November 17, when she was walking her dog on Colman Road, Eaton, when she was hit by a blue and white Yamaha 125 motorcycle.
The crash happened at around 7.20am close to the road's junction with South Park Avenue.
An inquest into her death opened in Norwich on Thursday and heard that Mrs Machin was born in Great Yarmouth and lived in Westgate Close in Norwich's Golden Triangle.
Area coroner Johanna Thompson added that Mrs Machin worked as a counsellor and died of traumatic brain injuries as a result of a road traffic collision.
The motorcyclist involved in the incident suffered minor injuries. The dog was unharmed.
The inquest was adjourned until June 19, 2023.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash and have appealed for witnesses to get in touch.
