Plastic bottles filled with urine accounted for the majority of litter picked up along the A47.
It comes after Breckland Council organised various overnight road closures at slip roads around Dereham and Swaffham for clean-up operations to take place.
This allowed Serco workers to litter pick and sweep the roads safely.
And over the course of one night, in Dereham last week, more than 20 bags of waste were collected - most of which contained urine-filled plastic bottles that had been chucked along the roadside.
In a Facebook post, Breckland council wrote: "Remember littering is an offence.
"If you have waste, please don't litter, take it home and dispose of it legally."
