With temperatures expected to drop tonight, gritters will be going out for the first time this winter.
The county council has confirmed they will be out in the west, inland north and inland south areas of the county.
According to the Met Office, overnight temperatures in Norfolk will be between 5C and 3C, reaching 2C at 5am.
It's not currently expected for road surface temperatures to drop low enough for gritting to be needed in the coastal areas or in the city.
All A and B roads as well as some C roads are treated with a focus on commuter and bus routes and as far as possible one route into all villages.
