THERE has been traffic chaos at the height of rush-hour in Lowestoft this morning (Tuesday) following problems with the lights on the approach to the bascule bridge.
Motorists heading into Lowestoft have been faced with delays of up to 30 minutes as the traffic management system has seemingly not allowed anyone into the central lane on the bridge.
Traffic has been queued back as far as Kirkley and the Jeld Wen factory on Waveney Drive and there was further impact in north Lowestoft as frustrated motorists faced early-morning chaos.
