It wasn't just the rain that brought the crowds to the Word Arena at today's line-up at the Latitude Festival, but in fact Adam Ant, who reigned supreme with scores of people dancing away to some of his best-loved hits.
Performing with The Good, The Mad and the Lovely Posse, Adam Ant reclaimed his titles as one of the defining British acts of the post-punk movement of the early Eighties.
Bringing with him both an unmistakable fashion style and burlesque backing-singers, he delivered some of his greatest hits such as Stand and Deliver and Goody Two Shoes – who knew it was possible to dance in Wellington boots?
And if that wasn't enough he proved that he is still going strong by performing one of his personal favourite hits Kings of the Wild Frontier, which has the whole arena abuzz with nostalgia.
Adam Ant is currently working on his sixth solo album entitled 'Adam Ant Is The Blueblack Hussar In Marrying The Gunner's Daughter'.
