There was an early Easter treat for young Norwich City supporters at the Jarrold department store in Norwich yesterday afternoon.
Canaries midfielder David Fox made an Easter holidays appearance at the London Street store, to talk to children about their favourite books.
The 28-year-old former Manchester United trainee has been a key player for City this season but is a keen fan of reading when he has not training or playing.
He was based in the children's books department at Jarrolds for an hour and Carole Slaughter, marketing manager at Jarrolds, said he proved a popular attraction.
She said: 'The kids had a quick chat with David and most of them wanted a autographs and to get their shirt signed by him.
'It was a chance for them to meet him and have a quick chat about their favourite books, so it was nice to welcome David to our children's book department.
'He's a really nice lad so we all wished him luck for Saturday.'
