An open gardens event at Elgood's Brewery in Wisbech has raised hundreds of pounds for a West Norfolk-based charity.
Families flocked to the event on Sunday to look around the plethora of stalls containing homemade cakes, plants, jewellery, garden furniture and Elgood's beer.
There was also a Norfolk Hospice stall there which raised 100 for the charity but Nigel and Anne Elgood (pictured) also presented a cheque of 500 to the charity on the day.
Jo Pearson, community fundraiser at the Norfolk Hospice, said: 'It was a beautiful sunny day, with many people enjoying looking round the stalls. The gardens at Elgood's Brewery are absolutely fantastic and well worth a visit.
'I would particularly like to thank Mr and Mrs Elgood for organising the day and for donating the funds from the stall holders to The Norfolk Hospice and thank our hospice volunteers, Virginia and Michael Bucknor and Maggie Wharrier, for hosting the stall for us.'
Since 1984, the charity has been providing palliative care to people with cancer, neurological and other life-limiting conditions to enable patients to live life to the full for whatever time is left.
The Norfolk Hospice supports more than 280 people every month at its current hospice in Snettisham and has the support of 250 volunteers as well as paid staff. The charity hopes to move to a new 4m full-service hospice, which will provide 12 inpatient beds, next year.
The charity's yearly running costs stand at 1.4m, but these will rise to 3.4m once the new hospice at Hillington, near King's Lynn, is operational.
