A 42-year-old woman who twisted her ankle and became stranded on the cliffs at Cromer was airlifted to a waiting ambulance.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance landed on Cromer beach yesterday afternoon and the crew - Drs Antonio Bellini and Akos Soti, and critical care paramedic Andy Downes - treated her at the scene before bringing her down from the cliff path using a special rescue stretcher.
The injured woman was then flown to the top of the cliff where the land ambulance took her to Cromer Hospital.
