Schools and businesses in and around Beccles joined the thousands of people across Norfolk and Suffolk who did their bit for Children in Need today.
Staff at Greggs bakery in Beccles kicked off their fundraising on Monday and have spent the whole week dressed as pirates to pull in the pounds.
Armed with eye patches, swords and parrots, staff ran a competition to find their missing ship and continued their fundraising today by taking it in turns on a rowing machine outside the shop.
Jemma Utting, senior sales at the branch, said: 'We had a target to raise £1,300 and I think we have made it.
'We have really enjoyed dressing up for Children in Need this week and would like to thank all our customers for their generous donations.'
Pupils from The Old School in Henstead, sang seasonal songs outside Boots in the centre of Beccles for the sixth consecutive year.
Shoppers stopped to listen to the school choir accompanied by their music teachers on the keyboard and piano, while mums and dads from the school ran a cake stall.
Joe McKinney, school headmaster, said: 'Part of the ethos at the school is that we fundraise for those less fortunate than ourselves.
'It also gives them the opportunity to perform which helps to build the children's confidence.'
Pupils will be adding to the £200 they have already raised by wearing spotty clothes to school on Monday.
And pupils at Worlingham Primary School also did their bit for the cause by paying £1 each to wear their Onesies at school for the day.
