A woman who was trapped underneath a car after being hit in a supermarket car park thanked an air ambulance crew member who helped rescue her.
Margaret McGarrity, 60, from Sustead near Cromer, met with East Anglian Air Ambulance critical care paramedic Ben Caine at the charity's base on Norwich International Airport yesterday.
Mrs McGarrity ended up underneath a silver car face down and was airlifted to hospital with serious bruising and a broken left wrist after being hit in the Cromer Lidl car park on June 28 last year.

The former NHS administrator said: 'The visit has been lovely. It has helped me come to terms with everything. So much of the actual day was a blur.'
She looked around the Anglia One helicopter, used during her rescue, with her daughter and two grandchildren.
Mr Caine, from Sheringham, said: 'Anyone who comes to tell us how they are doing [following a rescue] is a great morale boost for the crew.'
He was scrambled to the scene with doctor Federico Mentegazzi and pilot Steve Norris, following the crash at about 11.50am.
The crew was joined firefighters, police officers and paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service who helped Mrs McGarrity and her husband Peter, 69, who was also injured.
The couple were hit by a car being driven by 81-year-old Dr John Arbuthnot, from Churchill Crescent in Sheringham, who was fined £580 after pleading guilty to careless driving.
Mrs McGarrity's daughter Rachael Ettridge, 34, from Hamlet Close in North Walsham, said the crash scene after the air ambulance flew away was 'horrific'.
'The visit will help my mother psychologically come to terms with the accident. It is amazing what the air ambulance crews do,' she said.
The crash smashed Mrs McGarrity's left wrist which needed a metal plate that prevents her from driving and gardening. Her husband suffered badly sprained ankles and cannot walk or drive long distances.
Mrs McGarrity also thanked Carol Fenn, 61, from Lusher Close in Sheringham, who continued talking to her while she was under the car.
Mrs Fenn's daughter came forward after reading an interview with the 60-year-old about her injuries in the EDP and North Norfolk News.
Both Mrs Fenn and her husband Robert, 56, reassured the Sustead couple throughout the rescue.
