All roads surrounding Gillingham's helicopter crash site have now reopened after specialists spent the weekend working to remove the aircraft.
Raveningham Road, which is adjacent to the field where the accident happened, had remained shut while the Air Accident's Investigation Branch (AAIB) worked with Norfolk fire service and units from the RAF and Royal Navy to assess the debris and make the helicopter safe to transport.
Motorists trying to get to Raveningham, Thurlton and Norton Subcourse were finally allowed through at 9.25am this morning after police stood guard at the scene of the tragedy off the A143 Yarmouth Road, near Beccles.
The AgustaWestland AW139, owned by Lord Ballyedmond, plunged into the ploughed field in heavy fog on Thursday evening, killing him and the three other men on board.
It was taking off from Gillingham Hall, the home of Lord Ballyedmond, with the other victims named as Declan Small, a site foreman for Norbrook Pharmaceuticals, and pilots Lee Hoyle and Carl Dickerson.
