Firefighters worked through the night after a house on a King's Lynn estate caught fire.
The blaze erupted at around 10pm last night in a mid-terraced house on Winston Churchill Drive.
There was no injuries and nearby residents were evacuated.
Appliances from Kings Lynn, Terrington, Sandringham and the aerial support appliance from Earlham attended the scene.
Fire fighters used breathing apparatus and hose reel rets as well as a hydrant to extinguish the blaze.
North Lynn station manager, Tony White, said: 'The crews worked incredibly hard in extremely hot, difficult conditions to stop the fire from spreading. It could have been massively worse.'
